• How does Konfida help to protect the environment?

Our products are made with 100% recycled paper and 100% biodegradable glue.

  • How should the tubes and cores be stored?

Tubes and cores should be stored in closed areas, at room temperature in an environment with 50-60% relative humidity.

Users should avoid storing tubes where there is steam, water or humidity and also high temperature sources, such as roof sections, steam generators, heating rooms, etc.

Carton boxes, plastic bags and stretch film should always be kept closed during storage.

  • What’s the shelf-life?

Recommended shelf life is maximum six months from date of production.

  • Why does the quality of parchment paper matter?

We use ‘genuine vegetable parchment’ that is tailor-made for textile tubes, film and tape cores. It is made of 100% cellulose with no chemical additives.

Fiber-free structure Genuine vegetable parchment enables a flawless yarn unwinding process with its smooth and abrasion-resistant surface.

Grease proof Genuine vegetable parchment is impermeable to oil and grease. It acts as a barrier between the yarn and the tube, not allowing the oil on the yarn to permeate into the inner layers of tubes.

Bleed-free colors Dyed with solid pigments, genuine vegetable parchment does not color the yarn on the tube.

  • Why are some tubes colored?

Each color or color combination is used to differentiate a yarn type or a yarn specification in the textile industry.
